DIY: Sunburst Mirror

First up: prep your hangers. Using your wire cutters, making two snips, cut off the long side of the hanger. That’s the part you’ll use. I’m betting you could spray paint the wires a different color — black or silver, for example. Now would be the time to try said painting, before the next step.

Flip the big mirror over. Glue the wires extending outward from the center of the mirror. Make sure each wire is firmly secured to the mirror. Next, add a spot of glue on the wrong side of each mini mirror, and attach as desired to the front of the sunburst wires.

Glue the cardboard over the big mess of wires. This will both protect your wall when you hang the piece, AND it also covers up some of the ugly. HANGER: Clip a 3-inch piece of wire from a discarded hanger portion. Bend it into an arc and glue it to the backside of the mirror. See more:
